After a long break in blogging about my own writing, it’s time to stick my head above the parapet. This week has been pretty exciting. 59 Memory Lane, the book that’s been in my head for so long half-formed and bursting to be written is nearly ready to fly. The proof copies have gone out, and real people are actually reading it, maybe even at this very minute! Tonight I’m heading out to celebrate with friends from my teaching days, when writing had to be squeezed in between marking, planning, and all sorts of other vital jobs. It’s time to follow the dream at last. Watch this space!
